Food and Drink
At the Weighbridge Inn the food we serve is made in our kitchen by our great chefs. Real classic pub food with a Weighbridge 'twist' such as our sharing platters, The Weighbridge burger, a great steak and obviously our famous 2in1 pie® pies all feature regularly on the menu, as well as more adventurous dishes. Every dish is homemade and cooked fresh to order. We serve a great 2 and 3 course special Sunday menu including a choice of Sunday roasts with all the trimmings.
We source from our great local suppliers, such as Hall's bread, Jessie Smith Butchers and Winstone's ice cream.
Our menu changes seasonly and our specials board is updated regularly to reflect the best of the seasonal produce, which is locally sourced where possible. We also offer a range of dishes suitable for vegeterians and a children's menu.
To round it all off, we offer amazing home-made desserts!
We serve everyday from 12.00pm so we can fit in around you, rather than the other way round!
We have a comprehensive wine list with wines from around the world and all our wines on offer can be served by the glass. So just because you are only having a glass of wine doesn’t mean you should be limited in choice! We work very closely with great suppliers and regularly update our wine list to reflect our menus
We love champagne at the Weighbridge Inn and are pleased to be able to serve different champagnes and Prosecco by the glass. The house champagnes are Perrier Jouet and Laurent Perrier.
We also love beer and have four cask engines which we change regularly. Gloucester Old Spot is a favourite with the regulars. We source the majority of our cask ale within a 50 mile radius. These include the charismatic Chas from Uley Brewery, the passionate Steve from Great Western Brewery and the charming McWattie family from Prescott at Cheltenham. We like to stock products which we feel are the best in their class and so we also stock bottled beers & ciders from around the world.
We offer a wide selection of spirits. We pride ourselves in our selection of different gins; William Chase from Herefordshire, local Sibling Gin, Monkey 47 and Martin Miller's of Iceland to name but a few. To make the perfect gin and tonic we also serve Fever Tree tonics. We also stock up to 12 whiskies at any one time and these include; Penderyn, Macallan, Oban, Dalwhinnie and Lagavulin.
We put a lot of thought into our range of soft drinks and we are continually updating and expanding our range. Just some of the drinks we serve include; Pepsi (draft) and Coca Cola (bottled), wonderful San Pellegrino, and a wide selection of Bottle Green drinks from Stroud and Frobisher fruit juices.
